Based in Bushey in North West London/Hertfordshire, I make all of the items for sale from my studio.  Each item is completely unique.  You can be sure that what you are buying is not available anywhere else.

Having been creative from a young age, I practice in a wide range of disciplines and techniques.  For the past 10 years I have been a special effects and creature costume maker for a wide variety of projects including the Harry Potter series, Batman, In The Night Garden and X-Men: First Class.

My main discipline is stitching and I especially love creating items using embroidery – both by machine and by hand.

I’m also a very avid knitter/crocheter and am very active in the London knitting scene under the name of The Fastener (so rumour has it!).

I make every effort to create everything using original and vintage materials.  Some are sourced from the UK but a lot of the materials I use are from my travels around the world, especially my handmade buttons which use a variety of washi papers and fabrics from Japan.
